Hulu Cock takes its name from two of its six pictures, the hulu (a gourd) and the cockerel. The game is the familiar fish-prawn-crab dice game played in many Malaysian homes at Chinese New Year, and 918Kiss has turned it into a table with the same grid as its Sicbo game.
Three dice, each with six pictures instead of pips, are shaken under a dome. You bet on which pictures will land.
The six symbols
Along the bottom of the screenshot above are six big boxes: a prawn, a fish, a gourd, a coin, a crab and a rooster. These are the single-symbol bets. The label below them reads "1:1 on one dice, 2:1 on two dice, 3:1 on three dice", so the more dice show your symbol, the more it pays.
The rest of the grid
The upper bands mirror the Sicbo table.
- Each double 10:1: two of the same symbol, one box for each of the six.
- 180:1: a specific symbol on all three dice.
- Any triple 30:1: any three of a kind, in the middle.
- Two dice 5:1: a long row of symbol pairs, such as prawn and fish, or crab and rooster.
There are no Small, Big or total bets here, which makes the board easier to read than Sicbo.
A round with two chips
In the second capture, a 0.5 chip sits on the prawn and another on the fish, so the BET box reads 1. The gold dome has come down over the middle of the table to shake the dice. When it lifts, winning boxes light up.
Covering two symbols like this feels safe, but whichever symbol does not appear loses its chip. It spreads the risk around rather than removing it.
Controls
The limits box top left says MIN 0.5 and MAX 1000. BET, WIN and BALANCE are bottom left, and the chip rail offers 0.5, 1, 5, 10 and 50. The record strip at the top shows the last few results as small picture tiles.
