Monkey Thunderbolt: bet on the pair of monkeys that climbs first
A race game where six numbered monkeys climb poles. How the odds board works, what the Banker, Tie and Player fans show, and what the race screen looks like.
Monkey Thunderbolt is a race game dressed up in Chinese-town colours. Six numbered monkeys climb six poles, and you bet on the outcome from a board of red lanterns. There is no reel and no card; the whole round is the climb.
The lantern board
In the screenshot above, the betting board is a grid of red lanterns. The numbers 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 run across the top and 1 to 5 down the side, so each lantern stands for one pair of monkeys: 1 and 6, 1 and 5, 2 and 4, and so on. Every lantern shows its odds, with your bet below.
The figures in our capture ranged from 4 (pair 1-3) to 1000 (pair 2-4), with others like 80, 175, 500 and 30 in between. They are per-round figures, not fixed.
Beside the grid are three bet-size buttons (0, 1 and 10) and a note that the upper number is the odds and the lower one is your bet. START and CLEAR sit at the bottom, under a line that reads "Jackpot X3 X4 X5, Free Monkey".
Banker, Tie and Player
Above the lanterns are three fans: BANKER x2, TIE x9 and PLAYER x2, each with its own bet counter. The screenshots don't show how these are settled.
Last Results and the top bar
The right-hand panel, LAST 5R RESULTS, logs recent rounds. In our capture it shows 1-3 with odds of 5 and a Banker mark, then 4-6 with 4 and a Player mark, and a "JACKPOT X3" line. The top-left boxes show WINS 0 and COINS 29, above a painted street scene.
The race
When you press Start, the view switches to the race. In the second screenshot six monkeys in different colours cling to poles against a blue sky and snowy peaks, each with a numbered badge. Green 3 and red 1 are near the top, while 4 and 6 are still low. A small WIN box sits in the corner.
