Wukong: the Monkey King slot with a free-games multiplier
The Monkey King and his travelling companions on five reels. What the reels show, how the free-games counter and multiplier looked, and what the summary screen reported.
Sun Wukong, the Monkey King of Journey to the West, gets his own slot on 918Kiss. His travelling companions come along too, and the reels are framed by a dark forest temple. It is a 15-line game, but the part the screenshots really show off is the free-games round.
Symbols on the reels
In the screenshot above you can pick out the Monkey King in his golden headband, a white horse (the dragon horse the monk rides in the story), a peach, a stern bearded warrior who looks like Sha Wujing, and a pig in robes, clearly Zhu Bajie. The lower symbols are card letters and numbers (J, A, Q, 10) in green, gold and purple. The grid is five reels by four rows.
Line numbers 1 to 15 are stacked down both sides of the reels, and the bet panel shows LINES 15 and BET 15.
The free-games round
The capture was taken during a bonus. A banner in the middle reads FREE GAMES 4 OF 10. To the left, a box shows MULTIPLIER X 4. To the right, FREE GAMES WIN stands at 144. Two Monkey King symbols are boxed in red, and the message bar reads "You won on 2 lines" and "You won 8 on line 11".
We can't tell from these images how the round is triggered or whether the multiplier climbs, so we won't guess.
The summary screen
When the free games end, a paper scroll unrolls over the reels. The second capture reads "CONGRATULATIONS!", then GAME WIN 81, FEATURE WIN 168 and TOTAL WIN 249, with a CONTINUE button. The totals are in credits. Figures like these come from one lucky round; they are not typical.
The jackpot boxes
Three counters sit above the reels: MINOR, RANDOM and MAJOR. They moved between the two captures (MINOR from 40693 to 45770, for example), which shows they are shared pools. How they are awarded isn't shown.
