918Kiss, formerly SCR888: what the app shows and how accounts work

918Kiss is the name most Malaysian players know, but plenty of people still call it SCR888, which is what the app was called before it was rebranded. It is one app, one set of game IDs, and one lobby full of slots, card games and arcade-style titles.

This page is an independent overview. We don't run 918Kiss, sell credit or host the app. What follows is what the lobby shows, how the account side works through an agent, and what the iPhone install really involves, including the trust step that most guides rush past.

Reading the 918Kiss lobby

The screenshot at the top of this page is the main lobby. It is built for a phone held sideways, and most of what matters sits around the edges.

At the top is a large Special Bonus counter in gold lights. It is a jackpot display, deliberately loud, and it keeps moving while you are in the app. Treat it as decoration rather than a promise.

The centre is a grid of game tiles. In this capture the first row holds Casino War, Poker Three, Single Pick and Monkey Thunderbolt, and the second row King Derby, Motorbike, Alice and African Wildlife. Two of the slot tiles carry a small running figure underneath, which is that game's own jackpot pool at the time.

On the left there is a small Most Popular preview window, a speech bubble announcing a game ("Phoenix Shark Come!"), and a green Online Gaming button. Your account name and balance sit in the bottom left corner. Along the bottom edge are three buttons:

• Suggestion: a feedback form.
• Scorelog: your recent rounds. This is the one to check after a session and before any withdrawal request.
• Menu: settings and the game categories.

What kind of games are on 918Kiss

The platform mixes three broad groups.

Slots make up most of the list. Classic titles like Great Blue, Safari Heat, Thai Paradise, Irish Luck and Bonus Bears are the ones older players mention most. Each has its own reel layout, line count and bonus screen, which is why we cover them one by one rather than summarising them here.

Card and table games such as Casino War and Poker Three sit next to the slots in the lobby. They play faster than most slots and a round can be over in seconds.

Arcade-style games, including the racing tiles (King Derby, Motorbike) and fish-shooting tables, fill the rest.

The old version of this page claimed "more than 100" games. The count changes with app versions, so we don't repeat a number. The lobby itself is the only reliable list.

How a 918Kiss game ID and credit work

You cannot sign up inside 918Kiss. The login screen asks for a username and password, and those come from an agent.

The usual flow looks like this:

1. You ask an agent for a 918Kiss ID and receive a username and password.
2. You pay the agent in ringgit, and they load the same value as credit onto your ID.
3. You play. The balance in the corner moves with every round.
4. When you want out, you ask the agent for a withdrawal ("cuci"). They deduct the credit from your ID and pay you.

The app only keeps score. Every ringgit going in or out passes through the agent, so who you deal with matters more than any feature in the lobby. Old pages quoted a minimum top-up of RM30 and a minimum withdrawal of RM50. Those were 2018 figures and may no longer hold, so ask for current terms before you pay. Installing 918Kiss on an iPhone: what the trust step means

918Kiss is not in the App Store. On iPhone it is installed as an enterprise app: a build signed with a company's internal distribution certificate instead of going through Apple's review. Apple provides enterprise certificates for companies to install their own in-house apps on staff phones. Using one to hand out a public casino app is outside that purpose, and Apple can revoke such certificates at any time, at which point the app simply stops opening.

Here is what the process looks like on the phone, described generically. Current download links and version notes are on our downloads page and the 918Kiss app page.

After you confirm the install from the download page, the icon appears on your home screen with "Installing..." underneath, as in the screenshot above.

When you first tap the icon, iOS stops you with Untrusted Enterprise Developer. The message names the company whose certificate signed the app and says its apps won't run until you trust it. Tap Cancel. Nothing has been installed that can run yet.

To go further, open Settings, then General.

Scroll down to Device Management (on newer iOS versions it is called VPN & Device Management). The row shows the name of the enterprise developer. Inside, iOS offers a button to trust that developer, and then a confirmation box. Read that box. It says, in Apple's words, that trusting "will allow any app from this enterprise developer to be used on your iPhone and may allow access to your data."

That is the real decision. The certificate name shown for the 918Kiss build in our old screenshots was a company name that has nothing in common with the 918Kiss brand, and we cannot vouch for it or for any other certificate. Only trust a developer profile if you accept that risk, and never on a phone that holds your banking apps and work email if you can avoid it.

Once trusted, the developer screen lists 918Kiss as Verified, as above. The same screen has a red Delete App button. If you stop playing, use it: deleting the app removes the trust as well, and that is the cleanest way to undo the step.

Installing on Android

On Android the app comes as an APK file from outside Google Play. Your phone will ask you to allow the browser you downloaded it with to "install unknown apps". The exact menu differs by brand (on Samsung it sits under Security and Privacy, on most others under Apps or Biometrics and Security). Allow it for that one install, then switch it back off.

Before you top up

• Log in with the new ID before paying anything. You should see your username and a zero balance.
• Ask the agent how withdrawals work, how long they take, and whether any promotion comes with a turnover requirement.
• Open Scorelog after your first session and check that the rounds match what you played.
• Screenshot your balance before requesting a cuci.
• Keep one ID with one agent. Sharing an ID is the usual start of a dispute.

Keeping it in proportion

918Kiss is built to keep you tapping: bright counters, fast rounds, a new game announced on the side. Decide on a ringgit amount before you open it and stop when it is gone. Online gambling is restricted in Malaysia and apps like this sit in a legal grey area. Play only if you are 18 or over, and read our responsible gaming notes if you find a session running longer than you planned.
