Motorbike: pick the pair of riders who reach the line first

Motorbike is the dirt-bike version of the pixel race games on 918Kiss. Six riders tear round a dusty track, and you bet on which pair will finish on top. If you have played King Derby, the betting screen will look identical; only the riders have changed.

Reading the odds board

The screenshot above shows the NEW ODDS board. It is a grid with riders 6 to 2 across the top and 1 to 5 down the side, one box per pair. Yellow numbers are the odds for that race; the red number underneath is how much you have on it.

In this capture the shortest odds were 3 (riders 1 and 4) and 4 (2 and 4), while 3 and 1 paired at 125, 2 and 3 at 1000, and 6 and 5 at 500. Low numbers mean the game rates that pair as likely. High numbers mean the opposite.

The rest of the screen

  • Bet buttons 0, 1, 10 and 50 on the right set your stake per tap.
  • STARTER 2, FINISHER 4 and SPRINTER 3 appear in coloured text. What they mean is not explained on screen.
  • A FAST MODE switch sits below them.
  • The bottom strip reads "Jackpot X3 X4 X5, Free Moto", with WIN and BET NOW at the very bottom.

The LAST 5R RESULTS list on the right is the useful part. Our capture shows four recent races: 3-6 at 3, 1-5 at 3, 3-6 at 8 and 1-6 at 3. Short-odds pairs came in more often than not in that small sample, which is what the odds say should happen, and nothing more.

Race day

In the second capture the race is on. Rider 6, in blue and white, has broken clear on the right, while 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 fight it out in a pack behind him. Pine trees and bushes line the track, in the same simple pixel style as the horse game.

Before you play

Decide on your pairs before you look at the result list, and keep to one bet size. It is easy to chase a long-odds box after a near miss.
