ACE333 Motorbike: a pixel motocross race you bet on

Motorbike is a betting game dressed up as an old arcade cabinet. Six motocross riders in bright helmets wait behind a numbered starting gate, an official in a yellow cap raises a red flag, and then the bikes scramble around a dirt track while you watch the numbers you backed.

It shares its betting screen with Men's 200M, the sprint version on the same platform. There was no text on the old page, so we describe the four screenshots.

Reading the NEW ODDS board

The board is a grid of rider pairs. Rows run 1 to 5 and columns 6 to 2, so each cell is two riders. In this capture:

• 2-6 pays 1000 and 3-6 pays 500, the long shots
• 1-3 pays 200 and 4-6 175
• 2-4 pays 3 and 1-2 pays 5, the favourites

The small red 0 in each cell is what you have staked there. Bet size comes from the round buttons on the right (0, 1, 10 and 50). There is a LAST 5R RESULTS column, a set of STARTER/FINISHER/SPRINTER counters, a FAST MODE switch, and a line that reads "JACKPOT X3 X4 X5 FREE MOTO" that isn't explained on screen.

The race itself

Once the flag drops, the riders move along the track in a pack. Positions shuffle as they go; the capture above has number 1 on the inside and 3 on the outside.

There is nothing to steer and no timing to get right. The outcome is decided by the game.

How a session goes

Each race lasts a few seconds, then the board comes back with fresh odds. It is easy to spread small bets across several pairs to feel covered; that just means paying more per race. One or two small bets per race is a steadier pace, and FAST MODE speeds things up in a way that rarely helps a budget.
