Sicbo: reading the three-dice betting grid on 918Kiss

Sic Bo is an old Chinese dice game: three dice go into a shaker, and you bet on what they will show. Games like Grand Hazard and Chuck-a-Luck work on the same idea, so if you have seen those, the grid will feel familiar. On 918Kiss the whole thing fits on one screen, with the odds printed on every box.
The grid, top to bottom
In the screenshot above, the table reads in bands.
- Small and Big sit in the top corners. Small covers totals 4 to 10 and Big covers 11 to 17. Both are marked 1:1, with the warning "lose if any triple appears".
- Doubles ("each double 10:1") come next to them: double one, two and three on the left, four, five and six on the right.
- Specific triples are in the two boxes marked 180:1, and Any Triple in the middle is 30:1.
- Totals run across the next row: 4 and 17 at 60:1, 5 and 16 at 30:1, 6 and 15 at 17:1, 7 and 14 at 12:1, 8 and 13 at 8:1, and 9, 10, 11 and 12 at 6:1.
- Two dice combinations (1&2 through 5&6) fill the next row, marked 5:1.
- Single numbers, ONE to SIX, run along the bottom: 1:1 on one dice, 2:1 on two, 3:1 on three.
The limits box top left reads MIN 0.5 and MAX 1000. BET, WIN and BALANCE are in the bottom-left corner, beside a chip rail of 0.5, 1, 5, 10 and 50.
How a round runs
In the second capture a 0.5 chip is on Small, and BET shows 0.5. A gold dome shaker drops over the middle of the table and rattles the dice. When it lifts, the winning boxes light up and wins go to your balance. There is nothing to decide once the dome is down.
Where the odds really sit
A long list of big numbers can make the rare boxes look tempting. They are rare for a reason. The 180:1 and 60:1 bets win far less often than Small or Big, and both of those still lose to any triple.
