BlackJack on 918Kiss: five boxes, one dealer, and the rules on the felt
A five-box blackjack table where you can play more than one hand at a time. The rules printed on the felt, the action buttons, and a two-hand round.
Blackjack is the card game most people already know: get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. The 918Kiss table prints its key rules right on the felt, which saves a trip to the help screen, and lets you play up to five hands at once.
What the felt tells you
In the screenshot above, three lines of gold text run across the top of the table:
- Blackjack pays 3 to 2. An Ace plus a ten-value card on your first two cards.
- Dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s. The dealer has no choices; the drawing rule is fixed.
- Insurance pays 2 to 1. Offered when the dealer shows an Ace.
Below that are five round betting boxes in an arc. The limits box in the top-left corner reads MIN 0.5 and MAX 1000, the chip rail offers 0.5, 1, 5, 10 and 50, and CURRENT BALANCE is in the bottom-left corner. The shoe sits top left and the discard tray top right.
A two-hand round
In the second capture, 0.5 is on each of the two left-hand boxes. The first hand is a 10 and a King, the second a Queen and a Jack, and both are marked 20. The dealer shows a nine with the second card face down. A yellow arrow points at the hand whose turn it is.
The action buttons have appeared at the bottom: Surrender, a card button (probably Hit), Stand and Double. On 20 against a dealer nine, standing is the usual play in basic strategy.
Basic play, in short
- Hit takes another card. Stand keeps what you have.
- Double doubles the bet in exchange for exactly one more card.
- Surrender gives up the hand for part of the stake back; use it rarely.
- Going over 21 loses at once, before the dealer plays.
A basic strategy chart helps more than any betting system. It won't turn the odds in your favour, but it cuts down costly mistakes.

Collector's notes: questions readers ask
Can I play more than one hand?
Yes. The table has five circles and you can put chips in more than one. In our capture two hands were in play at 0.5 each.
Should I take insurance?
Insurance is a side bet that the dealer has blackjack when showing an Ace; it pays 2 to 1 here. Most basic strategy guides advise against it.
18+ only. Real-money games; online gambling is restricted in Malaysia. Never top up money you need, and stop if it stops being fun. Responsible gaming.
