Captain's Treasure: a 9-line pirate cabinet slot on 918Kiss

Captain's Treasure sits in the same cabinet-style frame as a few other older 918Kiss slots: a metal surround, a side panel that reads "5 Reel Multiline Video Slots, Play 1 to 9 coins", and chrome buttons along the bottom. This one has a pirate theme, and a pile of gold coins spills out under the reels.

It is a 9-line game. Every symbol, including the card ranks, is printed on a square of old parchment.

On the reels

In the screenshot above you can see a ship's wheel, a navy blue anchor, a treasure map, and a bearded captain in a black hat, framed in orange. A, K, 10, 9 and Q make up the rest. A pink line runs across line 3 and the message reads "You won 0.10 on line 3", with 0.20 in the WIN box.

The first capture adds a pair of crossed cutlasses. No win shows on that spin.

Older guides call the captain the wild symbol. That may well be true, but in these screenshots he carries no WILD label, unlike the wild on the similar Highway Kings screen.

Lines, bet and credit

• Lines (9) and Bet (0.09), each with minus and plus, along the bottom.
• CREDIT at the lower left of the reel window (36.92, then 36.76).
• WIN at the lower right.

At 0.09 a spin, the cost is low, and the lines are few, so expect plenty of blank spins.

Three boxes and a ball

The very top bar has MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR boxes, with BACK and a menu icon at the right. Under them is a "PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT" banner and a gold "Dollar Ball ENABLE" button on the left. As on other cabinet slots, the Dollar Ball looks like an optional side bet; its cost is not shown, so check before you turn it on.
