Highway Kings: big rigs, spark plugs and a Dollar Ball on 918Kiss

Highway Kings is built like an older style of video slot: a metal cabinet frame, a panel on the right that reads "5 Reel Multiline Video Slots, Play 1 to 9 coins", and big chrome-edged buttons at the bottom. The theme is American long-haul trucking.

It has 9 lines, a lot fewer than the 50-line games around it in the 918Kiss lobby, and each of the 9 line numbers is shown in a coloured tab on both sides of the reels.

What's on the reels

In the screenshot above you can see green, red and yellow trucks, a spark plug with a spark coming off it, a piston, a steering wheel, a petrol pump, a pair of red fuzzy dice and a truck marked WILD on the second reel. A line has been drawn across line 4 and the message reads "You won 0.04 on line 4", with WIN at 0.08 in total.

The other capture shows a red fuel can, a tyre, and a round sign reading SCATTER. What three scatters trigger is not shown.

Stakes

The bottom row has Lines (9) and Bet (0.09), each with its own minus and plus. CREDIT sits on the lower left of the reel window, WIN on the lower right. With 9 lines at the smallest step the total is 0.09 per spin, which makes it one of the cheaper games to try in this lobby.

Dollar Ball and the banner

Two things sit at the top: a gold "Dollar Ball ENABLE" button on the left, and a "PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT" banner across the title. In the second capture a red counter (above 41,000) appears under the logo. The Dollar Ball looks like an optional side bet linked to that counter. Its price and rules are not in the screenshots, so check them before enabling it, because it adds to the cost of every spin.
