Great Stars (Ji Xing): a pagoda slot with a Big or Small dice gamble
A 9-line slot with a lucky-star theme and an unusual gamble: instead of a card, a dice cup decides whether you double your win. Here is how both screens look.
Great Stars carries the title 吉星 (Ji Xing, "lucky star") in red and gold over a red festive background. It is a 9-line slot, and the reels use a pale cream panel with brush-stroke card ranks and a few bright charms.
Its gamble is the unusual part. Instead of guessing a card, you bet on dice.
The reels
In the screenshot above, the picture symbols are a golden koi with a red tail, a tall golden pagoda, a pink lotus, and a jewelled ornament on a stick. K, 10, Q, J and 9 are drawn in green, orange, purple and red. Two lines are drawn across the middle and bottom rows, and the top message says "You won a total of 0.09".
Stake and layout
The top row has four boxes: BALANCE (36.13), BET (0.09), LINES (9) and WIN (0.09). A "Dollar Ball ENABLE" button sits to the right, next to a scrolling PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT banner. The bottom row has LINES and BET with minus and plus, and a GAMBLE button with red dice.
So in this spin the player got back exactly what they bet. That kind of break-even result is common on low-line games.
The dice gamble
Press GAMBLE and you get the table above. A black dice cup sits in the middle. On the left, SMALL (小) with dice showing one, two and three spots; on the right, BIG (大) with four, five and six. Both are marked "1 pays 2". The HISTORY RESULT strip is empty.
At the bottom: BANK 0.09, MULTIPLY 2 TO 0.18 and MULTIPLY 6 TO 0.54. The screen does not show which choice pays six times, so do not assume one. TAKE WIN keeps the 0.09.
