Happy Lantern is a Chinese festival slot in bright gold and red, with paper lanterns hanging in the background and a large 春 character behind the reels. It is one of the busier-looking games in the ACE333 lobby, with lion dance heads, lucky cats and a God of Wealth figure all competing for space.

What's on the reels
Five reels, three rows, with "50 LINES" tabs on both sides. The symbols:
- a God of Wealth figure in red robes, who can fill a whole reel (reel 2 in one capture)
- white and red lion dance heads
- green turtles
- strings of red firecrackers
- a golden lucky cat with a raised paw
- a red envelope marked 囍
- card ranks 9, 10, J, Q and K
- gold lanterns carrying numbers such as 50, 150, 250 and 750, and one marked MAJOR JACKPOT
The lanterns and Hold & Spin
When lanterns start landing, the strip above the reels changes to "6 [lantern] Start HOLD & SPIN FEATURE". So six lanterns in view begins the feature. The numbers on the lanterns look like the values they carry into it, and the MAJOR JACKPOT lantern suggests a jackpot can be collected the same way. We did not capture the feature running, so we can't say how many respins you get or how it ends.
The top bar and bet panel
Four boxes run across the top: GRAND JACKPOT and MAJOR JACKPOT with small padlock icons, then MINOR BONUS at 5000 and MINI BONUS at 1000. The two bonus values stayed fixed across our captures; the jackpot figures barely moved.
The bottom bar shows Current Balance, a TOTAL BET of 50 with minus and plus buttons, a Max Bet button and SPIN (which turns into STOP while the reels move). A GAMBLE button sits on the right side of the reels. One message line reads "Line 17 wins 5", a small line win against a 50 bet.
Who it suits
If you like hold-and-spin style games where collecting value symbols matters more than lines, this is that type. Be aware the base-game wins in our captures were small relative to the stake.

Why do the GRAND and MAJOR boxes have lock icons?
In every capture there is a small red or green padlock beside them. The screens don't explain it; on many games of this style the lock shows whether your current bet qualifies, so check the info screen.
