Iceland slot: owls, orcas and an igloo Scatter on ACE333
A frosty 50-line slot with Arctic animals, an igloo Scatter and a full-reel polar bear. The bet is set per line, which the screen spells out.
Iceland is an Arctic-themed slot: pale blue ice, snowy mountains behind the logo, and a cast of polar animals on the reels. Its screen gives you more written information than most games of its age, with a line that tells you exactly how many lines are on and what each one costs.
We wrote this from four screenshots, since the old page had no text.
What the top of the screen tells you
Three frosted boxes across the top read BALANCE, BET and WIN, with BACK and a menu button to the right. Under them are three counters: RANDOM JACKPOT (around 32,700 in the captures), MAJOR and MINOR.
Just above the reels, two short lines of text do the useful work. On the left: "50 Lines selected". On the right: "0.01 Bet per line". Multiply them and you get the BET figure of 0.50. In the hero shot the same text also reports "You won 8 lines" and "You won 0.15 on line 16", with 2.04 in the WIN box.
Here the player has doubled the per-line bet to 0.02, and the BET box shows 1.00.
What's on the reels
Five reels and three rows, with numbered line tabs down both edges. Low symbols are glossy 9, 10, J, Q, K and A. The animals:
- a snowy owl
- a grey wolf
- an orca
- a narwhal
- a walrus
- a pair of penguins
- a polar bear that stretches across a full reel
- an igloo marked SCATTER
Two igloos appear in the capture above. The screenshots don't show what the Scatter pays or whether it starts free games.
Autoplay and the dice gamble
Along the bottom are minus and plus buttons around BET, and an AUTOPLAY button. After a win, a GAMBLE button with a penguin and two red dice appears on the right. We did not capture the gamble screen, so we can't describe its rules. Like any gamble option, it puts the win you just made back on the line.
