Big Prosperity (Fa Da Cai): red envelopes and a colour gamble
A 25-line prosperity slot in red and gold with a gamble button that lets you call the colour or suit of a card. What the screens show and what the gamble risks.
Big Prosperity carries the Chinese title 发大财 (Fa Da Cai, roughly "get rich"). It is a deep-red slot with a gold frame, and every symbol is a wealth charm of some kind.
The top bar reads "25 Lines selected" and "0.01 Bet per line", so a spin costs 0.25. The line count and the bet have separate controls at the bottom.
Symbols
In the screenshot above the reels show the God of Wealth with his black-winged hat, a golden dragon coin, a pair of red envelopes, the 發 mahjong tile, and a round gold coin with Chinese writing. The card ranks 10, J, 9, K and A are drawn in a brush-stroke style so they look almost like Chinese characters.
The messages read "You won on 2 lines" on the left and "You won 0.25 on extra" on the right. With WIN at 0.24, the small figures show how modest most spins are on a 25-line game.
Controls
- LINES minus and plus, then BET minus and plus, along the bottom.
- BALANCE (42.50), BET and WIN across the top.
- MINOR JACKPOT and MAJOR JACKPOT either side of the title.
- A red-dice GAMBLE button in the bottom right, active after a win.
Calling the card
The gamble is the colour-and-suit type shown above. BLACK or RED pays "1 pays 2"; spade, club, heart or diamond pays "1 pays 4". The BANK box shows 0.35, with MULTIPLY 2 TO 0.70 underneath and the x4 result partly hidden. A TAKE WIN button keeps the 0.35 and returns you to the reels.
The chance on a colour call is about even, and on a suit about one in four. Whichever you pick, one wrong call takes the whole bank.
