Sparta: Greek warships, shields and a dealer-card gamble
A 30-line slot in bronze and brown, with warships, catapults and round shields. Its gamble screen gives a choice between doubling and a half-stake double.
Sparta is an ancient Greek slot in bronze and brown. The logo is carved stone with a sword through it, and the reels hold a painted amphora, a red-sailed war galley, a wooden catapult, a line of soldiers behind round shields, and a single Spartan shield marked with a chevron.
The old page made one odd but true observation: the 30 line numbers down the sides are not in order. The tabs read 8, 24, 22, 16 and so on, which is common on these slots and just marks where each line starts.
The reels and bet panel
It is 5 reels by 3 rows, with card ranks K, A, Q and J in gold alongside the picture symbols. Along the bottom: CURRENT BALANCE (41.47), LINES (30), BET (0.30), and WIN, with a START button to the right. At 0.30 over 30 lines, each line costs a cent.
Three jackpot boxes line the top edge: MAJOR 694.49, RANDOM 3348.27 and MINOR 382.03 in this capture. They change as people play and aren't a forecast.
Double or Double Half
Sparta's gamble is different from the red-or-black cards on many 918Kiss slots. As the screenshot above shows, five face-down cards sit in a row under "Dealer", and the prompt reads "CHOOSE DOUBLE OR DOUBLE HALF". The figures are BANK 0.20, DOUBLE HALF TO 0.30 and DOUBLE TO 0.40.
So with a 0.20 win you can collect, risk it all for 0.40, or risk half for 0.30. How the dealer card is compared is not shown, so read the help page before you use it. A sword and round shield decorate the lower-left corner.
How a session tends to go
Thirty lines at a cent each means lots of tiny line wins, most smaller than the 0.30 spent. The gamble screen will appear after many of them; pressing COLLECT keeps things simple.

What is Double Half?
On the gamble screen, DOUBLE risks the whole win (0.20 to 0.40 in the screenshot). DOUBLE HALF appears to risk half of it: the figure shown is 0.30, which is the half you keep plus the doubled half.
Is Sparta the same as Spartan?
