Bonus Bears is a light, cartoon slot set in a mountain meadow: snow-capped peaks, pine trees, and a handful of bees buzzing around the wooden sign that spells out the name. It shows up on several of the app platforms, and this page looks at the version inside ACE333.
There was no real text on the old page, just screenshots, so we worked from those. Four captures, all from the base game.
What's on the reels
Five reels and three rows, framed in orange wood. The low-paying symbols are chunky, glossy 9, J, Q, K and A letters in different colours. The picture symbols are all part of the picnic story:
- a wicker picnic basket with a checked cloth
- a cartoon bee holding a stick
- a skunk
- a golden beehive
- a red-haired park ranger in a green uniform and hat
Oddly for a game with bears in the title, no bear appears on the reels in any of the captures. They may belong to the bonus round, which we did not see.
Lines and the bet panel
Both edges of the reel frame carry a column of numbered tabs up to 25. Those are the paylines. In the screenshot above, the panel reads line 1 and bet 0.01, so only one line is active and the whole spin costs one sen. In the hero shot the player has 25 lines on and the bet box says 1.00.
The controls are plain: minus and plus under the balance, a line box, a bet box and a win box. The three counters at the top (MAJOR, RANDOM, MINOR) moved between every capture, as shared jackpot displays do.
How a session goes
At one line and 0.01, a balance lasts a long time and very little happens. With 25 lines active, more of the screen can pay, and each spin costs 25 times as much. Decide which you are doing before you start rather than creeping the line count up after a few losses.
