Forest Dance (Mega888): betting on a spinning ring of animals
Forest Dance is an arcade-style wheel game, not a slot. You bet on an animal and a colour, a pointer spins, and a grid of odds settles the round.
Forest Dance looks nothing like the reel slots around it in the Mega888 lobby. A ring of cartoon animals circles a coloured track, a pointer spins in the centre over a galaxy background, and wherever it stops decides the round. Think of it as an arcade wheel with a betting table attached.
The wheel
The outer ring is filled with four animals: lions (some wearing a crown), pandas, monkeys and rabbits. Inside that runs a ring of red, green and yellow segments. The pointer in the middle spins and lands on one animal and one colour.
The screenshot above catches the pointer mid-spin. Top left sits a JACKPOT box (999129 here, 113064 and 253501 in the other captures) and a PLAYER label under it. That box is a counter, not a forecast.
The bet grid
The hero image shows the full betting panel. Each animal has three rows, one per colour, with the payout printed on the tile:
- Lion: 35 (red), 46 (green), 28 (yellow)
- Panda: 17, 23, 14
- Monkey: 10, 13, 8
- Rabbit: 6, 8, 4
Next to each tile is a counter showing how many chips you have placed. On the right sit three more bets: BANK x2, TIE x9 and PLAYER x2. The screenshots don't explain how those are settled, so read the in-game rules first.
At the bottom, CHIPS x 50 shows the chip size selected, BAL shows the balance, and BET the total on the table.
How a round finishes
When the wheel stops, the winning animal pops up in the middle, a panda in this capture. A BANK label lights up on the left, which suggests the side result was Bank that round.
Before you play
Spreading chips over many animals feels safe but every losing tile still costs you. A lion on green pays the most, and you should expect it to hit the least often. Pick a chip size that lets you play several rounds within your budget.

Why does the lion pay more than the rabbit?
The grid shows higher odds for the lion (28 to 46) than for the rabbit (4 to 8), which usually means the lion comes up less often. The screenshots don't show the actual probabilities.
What is the jackpot figure top left?
It is a display counter. It changes between screenshots and isn't a prize you can count on.
