Big Shot takes the Hollywood premiere as its theme. Palm trees and spotlights sit behind the reels, and the symbols mix a gold award trophy, a red sports car, a Big Shot logo and a cartoon star in a tuxedo with the usual card ranks from 9 up to A.
The old page only said the graphics and sound were good. This version sticks to what the two screenshots show, which is quite a lot for such a short game.
The reel window
It is a 5-reel game with four rows, framed like strips of film. Line numbers 1 to 20 run down both edges in coloured tabs, and the message bar above the reels reads "20 Lines selected". Filler symbols are Q, J, K, 9, 10 and A, drawn in bright colours with small stars.
The picture symbols are the ones to watch: the trophy, the car, the tuxedo man and the Big Shot logo.
The jackpot row
Three boxes sit above the reels. MAJOR shows 534.10 in the first capture, a Random Jackpot in the middle shows 1011.06, and MINOR shows 559.67. In the second capture they have moved to 574.49, 1018.13 and 508.36. They are shared displays and move constantly, so treat them as scenery rather than a target.
Bet and free games
The bet panel is simple: LINES and BET buttons at the bottom, a Balance box, a Bet box and a Win box at the top. The captures run at 0.01 per line across 20 lines, so 0.20 a spin.
In the screenshot above, a spin pays 2.08 across five lines and the bar reads "You gain 5 free games". Big Shot logos are lit on the first and fifth reels. The screens do not show how many free games are possible or whether wins are multiplied during them.
