Crazy Monkey in the Play8oy app: a timed board of monkey-king characters
Crazy Monkey on Play8oy is not a reel slot. You bet on cartoon characters and on Bank, Player or Tie before the countdown runs out, then a result screen shows the winner.
Crazy Monkey on Play8oy has monkeys in it, but it is not the classic fruit-machine game of the same name. It is a timed betting board. Cartoon characters that look borrowed from Journey to the West fill a grid, each with its own payout, and you spread chips across them before the clock runs down.
Reading the board
The help screen above sums it up: three bet options in the BANK, PLAYER, TIE section and 12 character options.
On the main board (the hero image), each tile shows a character or a letter with two numbers: the payout on top and your stake below (0 until you bet). Reading across the rows:
- top row: 28, 14, 8, 5, and B (Bank) at 2
- middle row: 46, 23, 13, 8, and T (Tie) at 8
- bottom row: 35, 17, 10, 6, and P (Player) at 2
The character in the left column pays the most in each row and the one in the fourth column the least. The countdown on the left reads 28, and a history row across the top shows each recent result as a character with a P, T or B token above it.
Placing bets
The chip at the bottom left (5 in these captures) sets your stake per tap. REBET repeats your last round, and CONFIRM locks the bets in. TOTAL PLAY shows how much is on the board.
The result
When the round ends, a WIN RESULT panel shows the winning character and its multiplier, here x5. TOTAL PLAY on this round was 50. The bottom bar switches to CLEAR and CONFIRM for the next round.
