Sedie Multiplayer (3Win8): betting against the clock

Sedie Multiplayer is the shared-table version of 3Win8's four-disc game. The rules of xoc dia are the same as the single-player Sedie, but here rounds run on a countdown, many players bet on the same shake, and there is one extra step that trips people up: the CONFIRM button.

The rules page

The GAME GUIDE sets it out:

• The game uses 4 buttons (discs) with a red side and a white side.
• Possible results are 4 white, 3 white 1 red, 2 white 2 red, 3 red 1 white and 4 red.
• Even covers 4 white, 2 white 2 red and 4 red. Odd covers 3 white 1 red and 3 red 1 white.
• The plate with a bowl acts as the shaker, and the dealer shakes it once bets are in.

Then the part that matters most, under "Confirm Function": you must press CONFIRM before the timer runs out, or your bet will not be calculated. After confirming you can add more, but you need to confirm again.

The table

In the hero image, the board has EVEN and ODD across the top, both at 1:0.96, with an orange ring in the middle counting down (10 here). Below are five inside bets, each shown with coloured dots:

• 4 white: 1:10
• 4 red: 1:10
• 2 white 2 red: 1:1.5
• 3 white 1 red: 1:2.5
• 1 white 3 red: 1:2.5

Single or multiplayer?

The multiplayer table adds the 2 white 2 red bet and the timer pressure. The single-player version lets you set your own pace, which is often the better choice if you are new or tend to bet faster when a clock is running. Both are listed in the 3Win8 game hub.
