Treasure Island: skulls, shields and a ship that goes Wild

Treasure Island is the more serious of the 918Kiss (SCR888) pirate slots. Behind the reels a dark galleon is moored in a calm bay, and the art is painted rather than cartoon. The side panel has a small skull logo and the title in pale gold.

Symbols

The low symbols are card ranks, 9 through A, in bold teal, green, purple and red. The themed symbols are:

• a skull in a tricorn hat over crossed cutlasses
• a steel shield with two crossed swords
• a picture of a ship in a round frame labelled "Treasure Island", marked WILD
• a pile of gold coins with the word FREE

In the hero screenshot the ship Wild is stacked three high down reel 2, and three skulls stand on reel 1 next to it. The message bar is empty and BET reads 25.

A small line win

In the second shot a white line on line 13 runs from a ship Wild on reel 1, up through a 10 on reel 2, down to a skull on reel 4, and back up to the right. A green "5" appears on reel 1, and the info bar reads TOTAL WIN 5, "13 LINE WIN 5". GAME WIN shows 5. On a bet of 25, that spin returned a fifth of its cost. A gold-coin FREE symbol also sits at the top of reel 5.

The panel

Coloured line tags run down both sides to 25. At the bottom are CURRENT BALANCE, a minus button, and a green BET box. RANDOM, MAJOR and MINOR stack on the right over GAME WIN. RANDOM passed a million in both captures (1020159 and 1020169). It's a pooled figure that grows with play across the whole platform.

Who it suits

If cartoon pirates feel too silly, this one has a moodier look with the same simple 25-line set-up. The stacked ship Wild is the part to watch.
