Balls Slot: a three-reel 8-Ball machine with striped and solid pays

Balls Slot sits among the classic machines on 918Kiss. The cabinet is titled "8-Ball Slots" and every symbol is a numbered pool ball. The old page called it snooker, but these are pool balls, with stripes and solids and the black 8 on the sign.

It is one of the simplest games in the app: three reels, one payline, and a pay table printed on the glass.

The pay table

The green panel at the top lists combinations of balls in two columns, one for each coin played. The top line pays 800 on one coin and 2000 on two. Below that the pays step down, each two-coin figure double the one-coin figure, to three striped balls (5/10) and three solid balls (2/4) at the bottom. The exact ball patterns for each line are drawn as small racks of balls, too small to read reliably in our screenshots.

Two neighbouring machines are visible on either side; the game shows them as part of a row but you only play the middle one.

Controls

Along the bottom: a coin selector with left and right arrows, then BET ONE, SPIN and BET MAX, with AUTO PLAY underneath. The CREDIT and WIN windows sit under the reels, and CURRENT BALANCE in the bottom-left corner. The side panel says "Play 1 or 2 coins".

In the screenshot above, the coin size is 0.25, the reels show balls 2, 10, 15, 12, 1 and others, and the win window reads 2.45. The credit window reads 40.18 and the current balance box 42.63 once the win is added.

Who it suits

If you like knowing exactly how a game pays, a machine like this is easy to follow. There are no bonus rounds or jackpot boxes to distract you. The flip side is that a win needs everything to line up on one row.
