Space Monkey is a cartoon slot set among the stars: a grinning monkey in a glass helmet, a nervous astronaut boy, and a crew of green, red and yellow aliens with one or three eyes. A red planet glows in the corner. On SKY777 it plays on a larger grid than most of the lobby.

A 5x4 grid and 1024 ways

Instead of three rows, Space Monkey has four. The badge on the left reads 1024 WAYS, and that is how it pays: matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, in any position. There is no line selector. A small red label reads 40 CREDITS, and the bar shows WAYS 1024, BET 1, TOTAL BET MPV 0.40.

In the capture above, columns of blue A's and green aliens stack up on reels 1, 2 and 5. In the hero, the message line reads "3 Of A Kind Wins: 0.05", and there is a WILD tile on reel 2 and a green SCATTER badge on reel 4.

The help screen lays out the round in four lines:

  • A scatter win triggers up to 20 free spins.
  • During the free games, bonus wilds are added to reels 2, 3 and 4.
  • The normal wild and the bonus wild both substitute for all symbols except the scatter.
  • Free games "are played at the triggering multiplier bet and may be re-triggered". In other words, the free spins use the bet you had when they started.

Extra wilds on the middle reels can link more ways in a single spin, which is why the round is the one players wait for. How often scatters land is not on screen.

How a session goes

With a fixed 40-credit spin, the total bet is set by BET and DENOMINATION only. Every spin costs the same, which makes it easy to count: 25 spins at MPV 0.40 is MPV 10. Doing that sum before you start is a good habit.
